Cowboys Player Out Due To Getting Shot In The Eye In Paintball

Full Disclosure: I’ve never participated in paintball. I’ve always found the concept somewhat scary. Like, I’m really not sure why I would want to go to a range and get hit by a paint “bullet”. It hurts. Even though you are heavily padded and it’s fun to run around and shoot guns, I much prefer laser tag, where you are just shooting lasers out. It just seems safer. Perhaps Damien Wilson should hit up Laser Galaxy in the future instead of the paintball course.

Wilson, the Cowboys 2015 fourth round draft pick, is supposed to be a large part of the Cowboys defense this year. With suspensions and injuries abound, Dallas needs all hands on deck. Williams, after a fantastic mini camp, may have screwed that up with a paintball injury. After being eliminated from the game, Wilson took his helmet off. He was then struck by an errant shot right in the eye, causing him to be out for at least ten days.

While it sounds unlucky and just an errant shot, these are the things that can happen when things go awry in paintball. Stick to the lasers people! They are safe.
