Watch Kobe get his dislocated finger popped back into place

Kobe Bryant showed once again that he is in it to win it, even in his swan song of a final season, putting up an impressive 25-point display before theLakers ultimately fell to the San Antonio Spurs 119-113 at Staples Center Friday night.

Nothing epitomized Bryant’s Mamba toughness more than this footage of the 37-year-old forward dealing with his dislocated finger during the game. First, Kobe doubled over in pain after a finger fell out of socket in the fourth quarter, then went over to longtime Lakers trainer Gary Vitti to pop it back into place, before bounding back onto the court like a boss (the footage starts at about 7:54 in this video):

And here’s a shorter clip, courtesy of Deadspin:

We’re more with the woman in red and black who winced at the whole thing.

“We find these things extremely funny,” Bryant said of himself and Vitti via “Maybe it’s just really weird or whatever, but we find these things extremely funny. I go to the bench, and he goes, ‘Ah, yeah. That’s a good one.’ I go, ‘No s—. Do something about it.’ And he pops it back in place, and we just kind of laugh about it.”

Spoken like a true baller.
